Better Business Bureau honors local businesses, high school students

The Better Business Bureau Serving Delaware last month honored five local business for their commitment to ethics and integrity. The BBB Education Foundation also awarded its Student Ethics Scholarship and Video Scholarship awards to three Delaware high school students.

These scholarships support students based on their leadership and contributions to their communities and schools. This year’s recipients submitted essays with the topic “What Should BBB of Delaware be doing to Compete in Today’s Online World to Advance Our Mission?”

The 2017-2018 Winners are:

  • Jack Gallagher – Charter School of Wilmington
  • Nicole Kennedy – Conrad Schools of Science

Shreyas Parab from Archmere Academy won the first ever Video Scholarship, which required applicants to submit a 30-second spot that told the BBB story, or conveyed BBB’s mission, while incorporating the theme of “Trust” and BBB logo and tagline.
