Delaware nonprofits hacked

Several Delaware nonprofits have been hit with an email virus. The email subject line reads: Subject: RE: Action Required: Completed: (name of the sender) Foundation ®#.

It includes a Dropbox link. The Delaware Alliance for Nonprofit Advancement, some of whose emails were hacked, is warning members not to open the email.

For nonprofits whose staffers opened the email, DANA suggested scans, IT updates and email password changes. So far, the only impact to computer systems is mass emails to all an organization’s contacts.
