Philadelphia-based law firm Fox Rothschild earlier this month announced the expansion of new offices in Chicago and Wilmington following a merger with Fishman Glantz & Towbin LLC, a 23-attorney firm focused on bankruptcy, commercial litigation and real estate.

“This merger will boost our litigation and real estate capabilities and add a deep bench of bankruptcy lawyers to bolster our national practice in that arena,”  said Mark L. Silow, chair of Fox Rothschild. “Shaw Fishman also has two attorneys in Wilmington who will add strength to our Delaware litigation and bankruptcy practices.”

The merger continues the expansion of Fox Rothschild, which has grown its national footprint over the past several years. It opened a Minneapolis office in 2016 following a merger with Oppenheimer Wolff & Donnelly LLP. In 2017, Fox launched a Seattle office through a merger with 39-attorney law firm Riddell Williams LLP.

“Fox Rothschild is a superb fit for us,” said Robert M. Fishman of Fishman Glantz & Towbin LLC. “Not only do our client service philosophies align, but its national footprint provides us with an expanded reach that will greatly benefit our clients. We are thrilled to be joining an innovative, dynamic and growing firm like Fox.”
