(AP) — A Delaware company that has made space suits for NASA was displayed during the White House’s ‘Made in America Week.’
News outlets report ILC Dover represented Delaware at the White House event highlighting American-made products. ILC Dover has supplied all the space suits for NASA since project Apollo.
According to the White House Blog, Monday’s event showcased American-made products from all 50 states.
ILC Dover General Manager Bradford Walters says it’s an honor to represent not only ILC, but all companies in Delaware.
U.S. Senator Chris Coons said in a statement that if we want to grow manufacturing we need more than theme weeks and slogans.
