Wilmington TechBreakfast

TechCombustion has organized a breakfast meetup for techies, software developers, designers and entrepreneurs to gather and showcase what they know. This event will be held at 8 a.m. at the 1313 Innovation building, 1313 N. Market St. Breakfast and coffee are included as networking and presentations take place.

Nine holes of golf and BBQ buffet

The New Castle County Chamber of Commerce is hosting nine holes of golf and a BBQ buffet at Hartefeld National Golf Club from 1:30 to 6 p.m. After the nine holes there will be a buffet, cash bar with a 50/50 ticket drawing, and many door prizes. Following dinner, guests are welcome to enjoy the view on the patio accompanied by a fire pit and outdoor bar. The cost is $30 for networking and BBQ only, $75 for member golfer and BBQ, $125 for nonmember golfer and BBQ, $300 for member foursome and BBQ, and $500 for nonmember foursome and BBQ. Networking women

The Central Delaware Chamber of Commerce is hosting a networking event for businesswomen from 5 to 7 p.m. at Doc Magrogan’s Oyster House, inside Dover Downs Casino, 1131 N. Du Pont Highway, Dover. The goal of the event is to connect women of all career levels, strengthen their networks and engage them in the Central Delaware business community. Following the event, the patio will be reserved for members only and the restaurant will be hosting extended happy hour and trivia night. The admission fee is $5 and can be paid at the door only. Networking night at Clarion Hotel 

The Delaware State Chamber of Commerce is hosting its quarterly networking night at the Clarion Hotel in New Castle. It will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. and will include the entire business community. The event will feature local vendors, complimentary hors d’oeuvres, a cash bar and raffle prizes for all guests. Business after hours: Phillips Seafood House

The Bethany-Fenwick Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting an after-hours networking event at Phillips Seafood House, 14101 Coastal Highway Ocean City, Md. It will be held from 5 to 7 p.m.  There will be evening door prizes for both fun and to promote the attendees’ businesses. The event is free for members and prospective members. Women Into Networking

The New Castle County Chamber of Commerce is holding a Women Into Networking event at the Courtyard Marriott at the University of Delaware. From 3 to 5:30 p.m., guests will have the opportunity to connect with leading businesswomen while enjoying a complimentary glass of wine, many delicious hors d’oeuvres, and a variety of door prizes. The event will also feature an informative talk given by Brooke Miles of Delaware ShoutOut on how to polish your image on social media. The cost to attend for members is $20 online or $25 at the door. The cost to attend for nonmembers is $40 online or $45 at the door.

Sunset business mixer

The Central Delaware Chamber of Commerce is hosting a business mixer at Westminster Village on Aug. 31. It will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. at 1175 McKee Road in Dover. The event includes networking among business professionals, door prizes, a 50/50 raffle, and a member-of-the-month drawing. The cost is free to members and invited guests. Must RSVP to the CDCC office by Aug. 26 to ensure availability.
