Social media you can’t live without: As a social media manager, I have a healthy addiction to social media, but my go-to platform to keep up with friends and family is Facebook.

Your biggest break: Relocating to Delaware two years ago to accept my current role. I’ve been given the opportunity to work on amazing projects, meet wonderful folks, and become a part of a community that feels like home.

Best career advice you ever got: You didn’t make it here on your own. You have an obligation to help the next person.

How you give back: There is no greater joy than helping children and young adults realize their full potential and reach for the sky. I enjoy interacting with young people through mentoring, teaching, coaching and more.

Your biggest challenge: Trying not to compare myself to other moms who seem to have it all together because each of us has a unique path and journey. We all have our struggles and opportunities, but we have to appreciate where we are at this particular moment in our journey.

Networking group you use the most: My sorority, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., has over 283,000 college-trained members. Wherever I travel, rest assured, I will connect with a sorority member who is a source of advice, assistance, support and so much more.

Work-life balance technique you recommend: Live in the moment. Whether watching a child’s recital or listening to a friend, tune out all distractions and focus on what really matters.
