Title: Managing Partner
Workplace: Capstone Homes
Jake Booth is not an office guy. As managing partner for Capstone Homes, a Sussex County-based builder and developer, Booth prefers to be out in the field and on the front lines, meeting off-site with clients or rallying his employees at job sites instead of the board room. Since 2015, the Georgetown native has helped build communities in Lewes, Millsboro, Milton and Fenwick, affording him the satisfaction of improving on the community where he grew up. In that time, he has also grown the business from an average of 50 sales and settlements per year to over 100, expanding its model home presentation and community count while hiring and training new employees in construction, service, design, sales and marketing.
In addition to building homes, Booth builds relationships with many local charities, serving as the board president of Contractors for a Cause, the vice president of the Quiet Resorts Charitable Foundation, and as an integral volunteer for the Cordrey Charities. He also led a collaborative effort to build a new pavilion for the Boys and Girls Club.
