Staff members and friends of Delaware Hospice celebrate the expansion of the Kent County office.

Delaware Hospice in February celebrated the opening of a new office at 911 S. Dupont Highway in Dover. The nonprofit agency has served Delaware and southeastern Pennsylvania since 1982.

“With the continual growth of the area, we are thrilled to have the ability to work and support more Kent County families,” said April Ball RN, CHPN, Kent County Associate Director of Homecare Services. “The expansion allows for more collaborate space for our homecare teams to identify available resources and integrate in patient care.”

The agency currently has office locations in Newark and Glen Mills, Pennsylvania. The Milford location serves as the main care facility, which provides multidisciplinary care a spacious environment designed to comfort the terminally ill and their families.

The Central Delaware Chamber of Commerce on Feb. 13 held a ribbon cutting in celebration of the new office.
