Equally important is our focus on galvanizing the community around vocational education. The link between economic development and vocational education is vital.”
EDiS officials say they established its EDiS Institute in 1998 in gratitude for the company’s 90 years in the construction industry. The event was designed as a biennial half-day forum to examine important business and industry topics, increase communication between the industry and vocational education institutions and encourage high school students to choose construction-related careers. Several opportunities for networking are built into the schedule.
