Approach to success
Libby helped create the Excellence in Leadership training program to enhance and develop leadership skills for the entire management team. She enhanced internal communication through the “Stall Street Journal,” a newsletter found in the employee restrooms. She helped revise the employee handbook to maintain pace with ever-changing laws, regulations and court decisions, and she worked to provide a “Sunshine” fund with grants available for employees facing financial crisis. She has also worked to create efficiencies and cost-savings across the company.

Libby’s HR philosophy is simple, “We are resources for humans. Whatever they need, we are here to help, support, care, develop and nurture.”

Community engagement
She has served on the board of directors for the DelMarVa Chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) since 2010. She has served on the board of directors for the Delaware Employers Council since 2008 and the board of directors for the Central Delaware Chamber of Commerce since 2011. She joined the board of directors for Central Delaware Habitat for Humanity last year. She is also a member of Delaware State Chamber of Commerce, Employer Advocacy and Education Committee.
