The New Castle County Department of Land Use, Delaware Department of Transportation and Wilmington Area Planning Council (WILMAPCO) are partnering to produce a master plan for future land use on Concord Pike (U.S. 202).

The dense commercial corridor stretches north out of Wilmington to the Pennsylvania border.

The partners are inviting members of the public to an information session on Wednesday, July 25 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Talleyville Fire Company, 3919 Concord Pike, Wilmington.

Local planners will discuss the current state of the corridor and master planning process. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and share their thoughts about the future of Concord Pike. Another workshop will be held later this fall for further community input.

The master plan will create a 20-year vision for land-use along the heavily trafficked corridor. More information is available at www.wilmapco.org.
