NEWARK — Building upon its success in key metropolitan areas on the East Coast, DeliveryCircle has opened operations in greater Atlanta and in three Connecticut cities.

DeliveryCircle serves smaller clients and large national clients such as Honeybaked Ham, Zoe’s cafes and CarMax.

CEO Vijaya Rao, said the expansions were driven by customer demand.

Instead of companies incurring the cost of building an in-house driver team, DeliveryCircle’ s offers logistics outsourcing, using software and mobile applications. Package sizes are matched with a pool of professional drivers with appropriate vehicles. Customers can track their deliveries in real-time through the mobile app.

Rao said the company plans to expand to three additional markets early next year.
