WINTERTHUR —  Winterthur Museum, Garden & Library is launching Winterthur After Hours on Friday from 5:30 to 9:00 p.m. The museum is promoting it as a weekend-welcoming event when visitors can stroll the galleries and grounds, sip cocktails, nosh on hors d’oeuvres, and enjoy live music.

Winterthur After Hours, based at the museum’s Brown Horticulture Center, will revive Winterthur’s popular pop-up beer garden and feature a preview of the fifth annual Truck and Tractor Day, scheduled Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Under Winterthur’s new Pay What You Wish option, admission costs are up to the visitors. Friday evening’s event will feature Indie Folk Pop duo Tino & Ashley.  Garden staff will be on hand to talk about Winterthur’s historic greenhouses and farm equipment. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.

Call (800) 448-3883 for more information or to reserve a ticket. For details about the series, please visit Winterthur.org/afterhours.
