World Champion of Public Speaking to speak to Area Toastmasters

World Champion of Public Speaking Pres Vasilev is scheduled to give two special presentations to Toastmasters District 18 which encompasses Delaware and Maryland during a one-day free training conference on Saturday December 29 open to all Toastmasters, their guests and the public.

Pres Vasilev rose above 30,000 contestants from 122 countries to become the 2013 World Champion of Public Speaking. He will deliver two presentations, “Journey to World Champion of Public Speaking” and “How to Uncover the Glory of Your Story!” at a special Training and Leadership Institute (TLI) event taking place 9 am – 4 pm at Bank of America Deerfield at 655 Paper Mill Rd, Wing 1 (Flagpole Entrance) in Newark.

Pres, who resides in Chicago but will be travelling here for this special presentation, is also the author of the popular online training program “How to Master Compelling Storytelling.” For over a decade, Pres has studied, researched, and spoken on self-improvement, speaking and storytelling and has coached hundreds of speakers from around the world to craft compelling stories, deliver powerful presentations, and win speech contests.

In his motivational keynote, Journey to World Champion of Public Speaking, Pres will speak about the twists and turns, the defeats and triumphs, the decisions and discoveries that shaped his journey to World Champion of Public Speaking and share powerful public speaking tools, tactics and techniques, and the top secrets that helped him rise above 30,000 contestants from 122 countries. His second presentation, How to Uncover the Glory of Your Story, will be interactive educational session, and will equip the audience with the storytelling tools you need to transform your speeches into captivating stories. Pres will deliver live his winning Semifinal speech and engage in a dynamic discussion to unpack the tools and tactics hidden in the story.
